Hi Nicki

Hi Dionne

Confused too LOL!!

Sure it will be sorted though!! We must have faith!!

Think you should be selective as to who you let have access to your tree though.

Good evening everyone.

God im confused now, lolI am having difficulty keeping up,lol,

Ann.... Do you think the certificate I have on Edwin is anything to do with our Edwin?

Selena..That is not a bad idea about a site for my tree.I was thinking if anyone would like access to my tree then i dont have a problem with that if you think it would help. At least you could keep track of the names.

As for Alice Maud Livermore. The information I have says she was married twice. Is this correct?

Charles Hendley in March 1912
George H Tott in March 1924

Someone on here found 2 marriages for Alice M Livermore -1 in 1912 in Gravesend, to a Handley and one in 1924 in Edmonton, to a George H Tott. So, could the marriage to Mr Lewis have been a 2nd marriage of one of the above??? Makes it worse - too many Lewis to look at, to look under that name, but it would mean looking under Livermore, Handley and Tott!!!

I think that we are looking for anything to do with the Livemore family that may give us a lead. I am trying to find a marriage for Alice but am having some difficulty. Although born 1890 she does not appear to have married before 1920. If she married a Lewis, well...........have you seen all the Lewis entries?

Think that this is her death:

Alice Maud Lewis dob 09/12/1889
Camberwell
3rd qtr 1977
vol 11 page 1190

From: Herne Hill,London
To: Camberwell,London
Distance: 1.7 miles

thanks Moody xx

So we're on the hunt for her now then?

Lambeth is the district they fall under....so i called the local Library to see what the electoral roll listing was... and unlike some very helpful Library they want £10..... yes £10 per lookup.... not even per name!!

So i politely said thanks and hung up!

Grrr

This death seems that it may relate to an Edwin Livermore born 1885 who was an apprentice on a ship on 1901 census. Occupation would tie in, and age fits. 1901 says he was born in Breede, Sussex.

Hi Dionne, Tug Boat Owner - LOL. My mind boggles!

Just wondering what Brook House on Henley Road, Ipswich was - a nursing home? what is a chief resident officer? What a shame the informant wasn't a relative.

SE24 is in south east London, roughly Herne Hill area, in borough of either Southwark Council or Lambeth Council.

If you need any electoral roll looks in the borough of Lewisham, let me know as I might be able to get to the library one day.

I desperate to hear about the certificate for the possible brother of Dorothea!!!!!

Moody Blue Report 23 Nov 2007 15:00

Looked up Surrey Road SE24 and it is Herne Hill London.
Here is a death for :

Alice Maud Lewis dob 09/12/1889
Camberwell
3rd qtr 1977
vol 11 page 1190

This ties in with the birth of Alice Maud Livermore 1st qtr 1890 Maldon.

Also Camberwell and Herne Hill are so close:

From: Herne Hill,London
To: Camberwell,London
Distance: 1.7 miles

Will see if I can find a marriage or children.

Re Edwin Livermore's death, I am not sure. He does not appear to have a wife, is the right age and not far from home. Also the informant may have only known him as Edwin On the other hand, why was he not involved in informing of his maybe parents deaths. Perhaps he was dead to the family for some reason or possibly it is not the Edwin William Livermore we are looking for.

No giving up though!
