Hi Marcelle
I've been looking for a marriage for years - Thomas Corbett married Elizabeth Larkham/Larcombe sometime between 1820 and 1826, somewhere between Stogumber Somerset and Worcester. Cannot find it anywhere, maybe they got married in Bristol? Massive longshot - but please could you check.
Thanks very much
Judith

Hi Elizabeth

Checked all the other parishes for Bristol and no baptism for Sarah 1760. I tried variations of surname ie Crocker, Croker, Croaker and nothing I'm afraid. Did they marry at St Mary Redcliffe as its usually at the brides parish?

Daniel 18/09/1794

John Crocker Jones 14/08/1803

Mary 25/09/1792

Mary 02/04/1805

William 18/01/1798

William 29/09/1799

Dad Felix baptised 22/11/1757 @ St Mary Redcliffe
Father Isaac Mother Elizabeth

If you would like me to look for siblings of Felix let me know and will check disc 2 to see if she was baptised else where in Bristol

Hi Marcelle,
You are not going to believe this but ,on looking at the 1891 census it reads B Bristol Porters head
then on the 1881 census it reads Bristol ( Head Porter)
So that clears it for me anyway !! but thank you for the Baptism that looks like Him.
Thank you for your time thats a great help.
Regards Marilyn

Hi Marilyn

When you say Porters Head do you mean Portishead? I think this may have come under Somerset or South Gloucestershire (I'm not sure which) back then. My discs do not cover Portishead. There is one John Shepherd but baptised in 1828 father John Mother Hannah @ St George (GLS).

There is also a John Henry Sheppard baptised 28/7/1833 @ St Mary Redcliffe Father John Mother Elizabeth

Hi
Marcelle,
In the 1891 Census a John H Shepheard/Shepherd
B1823 states he was born in Bristol (Porters Head)
He was living in Plymouth with his son John,So although I have looked on BMD I cannot see a John H entry for Bristol.
So can you just look for me Please ?
Thanking you
Marilyn

Hi Marcelle

I have two births in Clifton - if you cover that area. Puzzled about the addition of a second name for one of them as not registered as such.

Augusta (Fanny) Faber - MarQ1849
John David Beverley Faber - MarQ1854

Parents would be Charles Wilson Faber and Mary Beckett Faber.

Hope that's OK and thank you very much.

Hi Sheila

Eliza Greenwood baptised 08/05/1796 Father joseph Mother Ann Partridge

George Deios Greenwood baptised 30/09/1794 Father Joseph Mother Ann Partridge

Joseph Wilkins Greenwood baptised 03/09/1793 born 24/12/1792 (states "see register" in notes, I haven't come across that before) Father Joseph Mother Ann Partridge

John Greenwood baptised 08/01/1805 born 13/05/1804 Father Joseph Mother Ann

No addresses or occupations listed.

The marriage index covers 1813 - 1837 so unable to check Ann & Josephs marriage date

Hope this helps. I double checked George's second name and it definatley says Deios
