Marcelle Report 26 Feb 2008 18:11

Hi Alexandra

Found the following:

I could only find 2 marriages for Charles Bartlett

Charles & Emma Page 17/07/1831 @ SS Philp & Jacob

Charles & Elizabeth Appleby 13/10/1834 @ SS Philip & Jacob

Found these baptisms:

James 19/12/1797

Elizabeth 25/11/1796

Daniel Rodd (no a on the end) 02/10/1801 at 2 months

Daniel 10/04/1800 Born March

Charles Dryall 02/07/1795 born 02 June

Richard 16/02/1803 born 17/01/1803

All were children of Charles & Mary Ann, baptised at St James

Then found these children of Charles Dryall & Elizabeth

Charles Bartlett 10/01/1836 born 07/03/1831

Daniel Bartlett 10/01/1836 born 04/10/1835

Children baptised at St James. The family were living at St Pauls and Charles Dryall was an iron monger

There were other children born to a Charles and Elizabeth but couldn't be 100% sure they were yours as doesn't say Charles Dryall as father

Hope this helps

Hi Marcelle - I am interested in any Barlett entries you can find.

My partner has an offshoot of his tree where there was a Mary Ann Rodda who married a Charles Bartlett. I have been unable to find their marriage or the baptisms of their children - possibly one called Mary Ann, then there was Charles Dryall Bartlett, Daniel Rodda Bartlett and there was a James and a Richard. I have found Charles Dryall's marriage and his death and his brother Daniel's death and their mother's death - have their father's will and their mother's will and Daniel's will but wondering if you could find anything else for them! Long shot I know!

They were from the Bristol area - Charles died in Easton.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Maggi

The marriage disc covers 1813 - 1837 so cant check the witnesses for you.

Took a look for John abt 1775 but nothing

Did find:

John Fenner 18/03/1810 @ Henbury Father John Mother Mary

Elizabeth 15/12/1811 @ Henbury Father John Mother Mary

Marcelle

Checkec marriages for John Fenner and nothing. Nothing for an Elizabeth.

The only Fenner marriage was for a Mary Fenner to Isaac Hutton on thr 30/05/1836 @ St Mary Le Port

Hello Marcelle,
Thank you for your kind offer. Please could you search the Bristol Marriage Index for William HICKS / HICKES / HICK marrying an Eliza in about 1827. They later lived in Bath and my search for the marriage is widening outwards!
Best wishes, Jeff

Annette, here they are:

Charles Millett baptised 03/08/1817

Robert Millet baptised 29/01/1815

Jane Millett baptised 03/01/1813

Mary Millett baptised 06/18/1820
