Yes please - James Mayes, born Langham Norfolk in 1816 - appears on 1841 census, married Susanna Massingham in 1843 but not on 1851 or 1861 census then Susannah re-marries - may be on 1861 census living in Aldeby, Loddon.

Be great if you can find him

Hi Claire,

I'm looking for a Charles Burge and his wife Mary on the 1861 census. In the 1851 census they were living in Bedminster and Charles was a cooper. Charles was aged 66 and Mary 62 so if still alive they would be in their seventies.

Many thanks
Michelle

Hi Claire

I'm trying to find out what happened to my g aunt Rebecca Naomi Clutterbuck she was born 1860 in Portsea Island Plymouth, she married Alfred Smith in St Peters Bedford on 25 December 1877, but then married Job Castle in Aston Birmingham Sept 1894, I can't seem to find out what happened to Alfred Smith, or where Rebecca and Job ended up. I have 8 children connected to Rebecca and would love to find out who's children they are, and if she was step mum to some.

Much appreciated
Siobhan

Dear Claire
7.11.2007 Wednesday, 0738hrs. Perth, Australia.

Thank you for your time and efforts. Muchly appreciated.
As there are so many MURPHY's around this will be interesting.
Information I have is:
Michael MURPHY (1840) -he was a stone mason.
Married Elizabeth CALER (c1841).
His father was born in Cork, John MURPHY (1820), may have possibly married a May ..?(c1821).
(this is as far back in that tree that I can go...so many brickwalls)
Michael and Elizabeth had my Great Grandfather Denis MURPHY (1866), then he married Emma TUCKER (1878). Two generations later I was born.
Any help would be great and hopefully get me over that hill...
Thank you.
Kindest Regards, Helen.
