Could any kind person look up a couple of addresses please?

I am looking for William Simpson b.1878 Sunderland and Matthew Metcalfe b.1870 Gateshead
Does anyone know if there are any pages missing from the Newcastle district?

The historical directories website have an 1898 Newcastle directory which shows the occupant of 104 Brock St as METCALFE M. Bricklayer.

He must have moved by 1901.

Thanks, that's where I found the address. I am sure it is him, but he never seemed to stay in the same house for five minutes! I can find him everywhere except 1901, I even have him on the 1911 but I need to know who he was living with in 1901 as his wife seems to have mysteriously dissapeared!
