Hi Mary,
I have had various census for the Wyatt family which give slightly conflicting detail.
The family as I believe them to be are :-
James Wyatt 1802 Dorset
Harriett 1801 Suffolk
James William 1824 Holborn Middx (IGI)
Matilda 1827 Holborn Middx (IGI)
Amelia 1829 ?
Eliza 1832 St Luke Middx
Frederick 1835 Hackney Middx
Louisa 1839 Hackney Middx
Albert 1840 Hackney Middx (or Alfred Layton Essex)
Emma 1846 Wanstead Essex

In 1851 they are in Wanstead

The 1851 suggests James 1802 was born Bermesterd Dorset but I have an IGI entry for a christening in 1803 at Blandford Forum.
Does your eagle eye support any of the above please?

Many thanks,
Frances

p.s. I have now realized that Albert and Alfred are two different boys - perhaps Albert died as he doesn't show up in 1851
Alfred was born in Jun Qtr 1843 West Ham, which would include Leyton/Wanstead

Hi Patricia
I cannot find anything on the Leigh family. No BMD info and nothing on any census.
Very strange
How do you know thye dates you gave me???
I would have expected toat least find the death of the mother as you could not be buried without a death cert.

That looks great, Mary, thanks. I know James born 1884 had the middle name Alexander, so matches with the middle A in your find, and he was a tailor in Canada, so matches with the 1901 occupation. Guess James seniors first wife, Margaret, died and that he remarried before the 1901 Census. Lots of avenues to check now. Many thanks.

Hello Mary

Could you look up Scotland Census 1891 and 1901 please, for:

James Dick and family
in Monquhitter, Aberdeen

Expect wife to be called Margaret, but not certain if she was still alive by then. If no James turning up with wife Margaret, could you check for a James with son James born c1884.

Thanks in hope.

Hi Hopeful
Sorry but you will not be able to get a birth cert for this as Civil Registration did not start until 1837.
Prior to Sept 1837 all BMD info was recorded on Parish Registers.
You may be able to get info from local parish records.

Hi Mary

I am looking for info on John Thomas Lawlor and his wife Elizabeth (maiden name unknown). Their last address as a couple was North View, California, Eston, North Yorks. My grandmother,s last address was High Street, Eston, North Yorks, where she lived with my uncle William (Bill) Lawlor. They had a large family including my father Reginald, Raymond, Cal, Ned, Theresa and Florence. I believe my grandfather died in Eston Hospital around March 1960. I am fairly new to this and would be very grateful for any help you might be able to offer

Regards

Kathleen
