I am looking for any information on the family of Peter and Helen McFarlane (nee Campbell) married July 1839 in Glasgow. Peter was a sea captain and died on a trip to Australia in around 1859. He took his eldest son Malcolm with him on the trip and Malcolm remained in Australia however Peter left behind his wife Helen and daughter Helen and sons Peter and James. I have found information showing Helen McFarlane (the daughter) marrying Archibald Moir in 1868 and Peter McFarlane marrying Margaret Gibson in 1864. Helen (the wife) died in 1887 in Alloa. If anyone recognises any of this information I would dearly love to talk to you about our family.
