my gr gr grandmothers name was martha ellen tiplady who lived in bolton this would have been her maiden name. she had three children as my gr grandmother has a sister and a brother. Has anyone got a martha ellen tiplady from bolton born roughly 1883 (educated guess), or a tiplady maiden name with a howarth husband, with 3 children one called jennie, one called lillian and a son. The tiplady, howarth marriage was in 1919 and they were born possibly turn of the century. i do remember seeing the now lost marriage certificate and it showed the marriage was late 1919 and it always stuck as my nanna was born nov 1919, scandle for the time. |
