He was an actor on the London and English provincial stages and owner of theatres in Virginia and North Carolina, USA. He married Margaret Shepherd (1753-1800), daughter of Charles Shepherd (1726-1768), actor and theatre owner in England and Ireland. Trying especially to find out who Thomas Wade West's parents were.
