John Wilkinson b 1807, in Newcastle, baptised St John 1808,
third son of Robert Wilkinson and Jane Stobbart. I cannot find him anywhere in UK records. Someone suggested that he could be the John Wilkinson that appears in US census of 1880, living in Cedar, Oiwa, married to Anna Wilkinson, looking after their three grandchildren called Blowers. Further into IGI records, he dies in 1896, married to Hannah David (at Tipton, Iowa). Can anyone with international records look this up for me. Basically I want some link with Robert Wilkinson and Jane Stobbart of Newcastle in 1807 - then it can be confirmed.
