No obvious Wilkinson/Fraz(s)er children showing 1921~1941.

Have you considered that they may have emigrated? What were their birth dates?

As Jonesey says -- their birthdates -- exact?

For deaths after 1969, the exact date of birth (if known to the person who registered the death) is included in the deaths index.

If Elsie had remarried, it might be possible to identify her death using her given names and date of birth, for instance.

Charles Edward 1889 in Penistone Yorkshire sorry don't know exact birth for Charles.

Don't know if Elsie remarried

Nothing obvious coming up for Charles Edward I'm afraid. Lots of possibilities of appropriate aged Charles Wilkinson's but the places of death do not tie in very well so not possible to say whether one might be your man.

Thanks Jonesey will send for the death certificate see if that gives me any other names i.e. who registered the death or husbands name...a long shot but may just help.

It was registered in Q3, i.e. after his birthday, and the age equates to dob 1888 -- and you gave Penistone as your Charles's place of birth.

A marriage in the same district:

- registered Q2 i.e. before your Elsie's birthday, so she would have been 70.

There are no Haigh-Frazer births, but there are Haigh-Wilkinson births 1943 onward in Yorkshire -- but several Haigh-Wilkinson marriages that could account for them.

I recieved marriage certificate this morning for Elsie MAy Wilkinson & Herbert Haigh....looks like Janey was correct there was a second marriage in Dec 1942. Elsie May's father matches with my records. Don't think they had any children though as Herbert was 62 at time of marriage & this was his first marriage, but a BIG THANKS to Janey for your help and thanks to Jonesey for your help.
