Margaret Wilkinson. I am trying to trace my fathers relatives. He was born Henry Wilkinson 8th June 1926. he father was also Henry Wilkinson and his mother Lena Wilkinson (nee Oldham). He was born at 17 Mottram old Road, Hyde, Cheshire. He had a brother Lewis who died. His mother also died when my father was between the ages of 8 and 11 years. He was brought up at St.Stephens Orphanage in Liverpool having been placed there by his father (for whatever reason). I believe his father later remarried. This is about all I know about my father who died aged 70 in August 1997. He died leaving 9 children and 21 grandchildren. I would dearly like to find out if we have more relatives out there and would be very grateful for any information. Thankyou Margaret |
