Looking for my Geordie roots continued. Robert Wilkinson b1852 married Phillis Gledson at St Nicholas Church, Newcastle in 1882, and bore him two sons John and Thomas. Between the censae of 1881 and 1891, Robert Wilkinson died, and Phillis went back to Cowpen, Blyth where she lived at the Isabella Pit with her two sons. By the 1901 Census, she had remarried Joice Turnbull, but still had Thomas Wilkinson aged 17 living with her. Phillis last occupation was Caretaker of the Cowpen Mechanics Institute. Anyone know of this family, and where Thomas (my g.g.uncle) went. David Wilkinson
