Re: Donald Cyril Wilkinson Violet Elizabeth Wilkinson nee Williams Barbara Wilkinson Pearl Gillett (Wilkinson) I'm trying to find any links to the above family. Donald Wilkinson is father to Barbara born 1935, Battersea. Pearl, born 1934 in Lambeth. Her birth cert names her as Gillett, her mother, Florence Gillett, father unknown. Donald is almost certainly her father also. At this time they were living at Nursery st. Wandsworth rd. London. Florence and Donald never married. Donald Married Violet Elizabeth (Williams) in 1936.It is possible Violet acted as Mother to both girls who may never have known Florence after she left them with their father. Violet may have had her own children with Donald. The house at Nursery st was bombed during the war and I have no further information on where they went or if they survived. Florence had another child, Claudia Joyce, who was my mother. Any possible links to these people woiuld be helpful, Kate |
