My friend is researching details of her great, great, great great grandfather a Thomas Wilkinson, town crier born Ipswich 1763 and died ipswich 1835. It may be that this is the same Thomas as your Thomas married in 1793 to Sarah Dowling.

Do you happen to have a Family Tree?

Hello Robert and welcome to the community boards.

As GB has pointed out, you have responed to a very old thread and Samantha may not be a member any more.

The best thing for you to do is

a) Put the details of your friend's grandfather into the Search Box above (in the dark green bar) to see if anyone on this site has him in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

b) Start a thread of your own. Take a look at the Help Clinic in the top left hand corner for further advice on posting a thread.

Hope this helps. Cx.
