David Report 12 Sep 2007 21:01

John William Wilkinson and Edith Carr came down from Newcastle in 1878, (John William was a railway porter, who got a promotion at Kings Cross) and they settled in the Holborn - Finsbury - Hoxton- Shoreditch area. The last address in the 1901 Census is Central Street, just of Old Street. They had seven children Edith b1880, George b1883, Jane b1886, John Francis b 1888 (who is my grandfather - I have followed him with certificates), Ethel b1890, Frances b 1895, Louisa b 1898. I believe Edith married Thomas Heal 1903, and Ethel married William Phillips 1914. Does anyone know what happened to them ????
