Mary Ann Wilkinson born 1863, 1864 in either Padiham or Burnley, father's name recorded on her marriage certificate is Robert Wilkinson. She married James Burton in 1884 and died in 1910 and is my great grandmother. Has anyone else have details that are similar to the scant information. There are a lot of Mary Wilkinson's on the Lancashire BMD it's hard to know which one she is.

Despite there being 100's of Mary (A) Wilkinsons born between 1861-1865, this is probably the only match. Only 2 have a father listed as Robert on the Census, one born Liverpool in 62, and the other born Sabden in 61.

The same applies in 1881 where Mary Sr is head of house, and Mary is still there with Bridget etc, their address is given as 21 West St, Padiham. Since this is close to 1884, does the address given on Mary's marriage cert match?

Thanks for the advice, I did eventually find out Mary's date of birth, December 1863 and it ties in with all of the above information.
