Trying to find any info on William Veitch Wilson his first wife died in childbirth. He had two sons when he married his 2nd wife Christiana Davies ( Dockray) she was 24 years of age and he was about 48 years of age in 1923, he was a Sea Captain and they were living in Hartlepool. William died 1948 in Hartlepool.
any info much appreciated

When and where did he marry his first wife?

Do you have census info or this that what you are after?

Sorry I don't know who his first wife was. I am going to send for his marriage cert from 1923 that will give me a bit more info.

The death in 1948 gives his age as 78 that would make his birth year approx 1870

1901 Has a William V Wilson b 1870 Scotland, occupation of boiler maker labourer, living in Fleetwood Lancs - listed as married

IGI has an entry for William Veitch Wilson b 1870
