I am trying to find my branch of the Wilson family in the Yorkshire area. The man I am looking for is George Wilson, born approx 1839, married an Elizabeth, born approx 1842. Several children, Elizabeth, born 1872, John, born 1874, Alfred, born 1881, Fred born 1892 and Charles and Thomas, birth dates unknown but believed to be older then Alfred. George's father was believed to be called David, born approx 1786. Originally came from Yorkshire, but had moved to County Durham between 1872 and 1874. |

I wondered if the Elizabeth in the 1861 census could be the future wife of George and look what I found:- |
