Have you tried searching the trees on this site to see if anyone has him in their tree?

Hi Janet.
Thankyou for your quick response. No,this isn`t my family. My interest is in Maria Gee,who you have listed in your reply. On the 1861 census, she was a maid to the Wilson family. Then by the 1871 Census,She was in the Kings Norton workhouse with her children. She was not married and on the chlidrens birth certificates,no farther is listed, exept for the name George ?, question mark after the name george,Maria is my great, great grandmother. She stayed in the workhouse for some time with her children. So it has always been a mystery to who the farther of the children was.Maybe it could have been George Wilson,we will proberly never will find out. Iam just following up any avenues, and wondered if any stories had been passed down the family generations.

Nick Sawyer
