Find Ancestors

Hi,
please can someone help me?

I have moved to NZ and am unable to search cencus records!
I am trying to search my grandfathers side of the family, but have hit a wall.

My grandfather was Peter Henry Wilson b 15/03/1920 in Fulham, London, married to Irene Barnes b 1923 Edenbridge, Kent. I know that Peters father was Henry Augustus Wilson born c1900 (not sure of location) and his mother was Florence Wood b 25/6/1896 TETBURY Gloucestershire England.

His grandfather was also Henry Wilson, a Wine & Spirit Merchant, born c 1880 (but that's a guess). This is where I hit the brick wall.

Can anyone please help?

that's great, thanks. I have quite a lot of info on Florence Woods, but can't seem to get any further info on than Henry A Wilson. eg I don't know his birth year, where he was born, or his mothers name. Also, I only really know Henry A Wilson's fathers name, but again have no idea on date of birth, place of birth, parents etc. I always get stuck here!

Is it a family story or do you have some evidence to support that occupation?

Hi, the "Wine & Spirit merchant" is a family story, so I'm not sure how accurate this info is.

I think a ticket writer in those days was a kinda sign writer, but I may be wrong. :)
