Hi. My name is Helen Parkes. My farher JOHN WILLIAM PARKS (note no e) was born 26/01 1910 in Crawcrook, Ryton ,Co. Durham. He was one of ten children of THOMAS PARKS and ELIZABETH JANE WILSON. They married on 26/03 1904 at the register office Chester-le-Street, Co.Durham. Elizabeth's address at the time of marriage was :- North Burns, Chester-le-Street. Her fathers name was JOHN WILSON . Thomas ,Elizabeth and family moved to Doncaster in 1926 and lived in an area called Dunscroft. Elizabeth died in 1942 at Staincliffe County Hospital in Dewsbury. Although I have all this information I have been unable to find the birth of elizabeth on the BMD index. Please can anyone help. |
