Trying to find info re my Great Grandfather JOHN WILSON. I believe he was born in Blackhill, Consett County Durham in approx 1877. He worked as a Shearsmans Helper and lived in St Georges Place in the St Aidans Parish of Blackhill. He married Mary Ann Pigg (of Plantation Street, Leadgate) on 30.05.1900 at the Wesleyan Chapel in Leadgate and they lived at 45 Park Road - Consett - Co Durham. They had five children, Carrie (my grandmother) b 17.12.1917, Sydney b 06.10.1908, John b 10.11.1902 (also known as Jack), Arthur b 15.11.1911 and Douglas b 02.01.1906. I believe he died in 1932. I would really like to find out about his parents also as I dont know their names.
