Does anyone happen to know of an Ann Yardley who married Daniel Rayner in 1851 at St. Michael, Coventry?
Ann and Daniel Rayner were my great great grandparents. Daniel I believe was a chemist and they lived for a time in India, where my great grandmother Emma was born. From there they moved to Canada.
I can only find 2 marriage entries for a Daniel Rayner around the dates I'm looking at, but need to establish if Ann Yardley is the Ann I am looking for.

Found your query regarding Ann Yardley and Daniel Rayner and the resulting posts.
Daniel is the brother of Dr Thomas Ottery Rayner, of London and Canterbury NZ; my wife's GGgrandfather.
Daniel Sampson was born in Bristol, 26 Jul 1829 twin of Harriett Rayner, to Sarah Ottery and Thomas Rayner, supervisor of excise. They married in Bristol in 1823 but not before having 3 sons including Thomas Ottery Rayner 1816, before then. I have just returned from Bristol and confirmed this controversy, as the Rayner family have a Thomas Rayner and Sarah Banks marriage in 1810 London recorded as Thomas Rayner's wife. She may have died soon after marriage, There is little confirmation on this.
I saw your post while searching more information on Daniel so began delving into marriages, census etc. There seems to be a further Rayner/Yardley connection
A William Yardley, also of Coventry appears to have had children in Bombay at the same time , before returning to England,
I cannot find Ann's birth but it appears to be in Shropshire (her 1894 death in Ontario states Newport (in Shropshire)) 1851 census Foston Monbray, Shropshire.
The Dewsberry info supplied by ozibird appears to be unrelated, not sure about Evangelina, would need certificate I guess.
You are welcome to view my tree but I have not included much of the Rayner/Ottery info as it is all new, and will wait for Rayner reaction.
