Sue Report 20 Sep 2008 21:03

Hello again Mike,

I know you are very busy but I am still struggling with my James Neal (Tailor) and his wife Emily Foster. Elaine kindly looked up Nottingham baptisms but only one was 1810 which seems a bit late. When you have time could you see if you can find any James Neal/Neale/Neall baptism in Leicester 1800 to 1806, and also Emily Foster born c1806 in Market Harborough.

Also would there be indetures anywhere for apprentices in Tailoring, and what age would they have started in Tailoring. I know Kew keep some documents but only up to 1810, which is too early for my relatives.

Thanks

Sue

Hi Andy

Had a look 1837 (Jul-Sep ) to 1839 and didn't find a Sophia Dennis. Before that it would be a burial entry in Parish Records, have only checked Ancestry BMD's
