Villages in Co. Galway

My great grandmother was born in Ireland and I have despaired as to where until the release of the 1911 census. County Galway!! There's even a village listed - Pretubbler. Never heard of it you say? No, neither have I or Google for that matter. Can't find mention of it anywhere. So I checked the original census page - still looks like Pretubbler. So I googled villages in Galway, two possibilities. There's a parish called Tubber. Maybe. There's also Portumna. Say it very quickly.AM I barking up wrong tree?
