linking documents to people in your family tree

Good morning, I have only recently noticed that you can link census records to people in your family tree which can be viewed in the gallery section for that person.
I wondered if anyone knew if it was possible to link BMD records in the same way, it's just that the option doesn't seem to appear when viewing BMD original documents.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
