I had the same problem as Beverley. Completed the registration and received the confirmation email. I have the five digit code but no bar code which it is requesting. Looks like I will not be able to access the site as I also live overseas. |

Jackdaws.......why don't you email the libraries and say that you would like to access the newspapers for Family History purposes only and would they let you have a card. |

You used to be able to sign on even when not living in the U.K. That has changed and you now have to have a U.K. address to register. |

Jackdaws.......You need to have a library card....the one you use to take out books. There is a number on the back & that's the one you log in with. |
