After reading the threads on this page, I noticed one from Kathleen, entitled BMD Records on GR. , and the excellent offers of look-ups offered.
I have just recently began a study of a family, but one branch is giving a real good headache. After searchin every record that I can access, I came across possible matches in the Oversees Births on here, under Army Chaplains Returns.
I am particularly looking for the deaths of John Rower b 1740 Peterborough and his wife Alice dob not known.
Also the marriages of their children Elizabeth b 1772 Elton, Hunts.
Mary b 1779 Elton. Hunts, and John b 1783 Elton, Hunts.
I have found that there is one entry for the marriage of Elizabeth, and four for each of Mary and John. Also there is a death recoded for a John and also one for an Alice.
Would it be possible for someone to be able to take a look at these, and tell me what is said.

Many,many Thanks

MarieCeleste, you are an angel. Thank you so much for the information on the parents. This branch of the family has been so hard to trace, unlike the brother of John, who seemed to originate a ploriforation of descendants all over Lincolnshire.

Thanks again
