Can anyone help me find info on:
Richard Norman McCormick marrying Ida ? in Canada between 1920 and 1937.
Also the Canadian births:
William James McCormick and Ida (I think) Elizabeth McCormick during that time. :-)

BMD registration is a provincial responsibility, so it would help to know which of the 9 contemporary provinces or 2 territories these events happened in.

You're not likely to find the births directly, as births are closed for 100y in most provinces, but they could appear on an obit for Richard or Ida.

William as born in 1930 but they returned to england when he was 7 yrs old.
I can't remember where he lived only that the place had the same name as a place in england ...well I was only little..lol

The PROVINCE is very important.

As mgnv said, records are kept by the provinces.

AND records so recent are not available ........... so one needs to which province in an attempt to find local newspapers where familial type notices might have been printed.
