I wonder if anyone could do 2 address searches for me? I would like to know who is living at 19 Silver st, Thrybergh, Whinney Hill, Rotherham, and at 3 Abell St, Thrybergh, Whinney Hill, Rotherham.
My grandmother was a visitor in Earlestown, Lancs at the time of the 1911 census, but from certs that I have, she was in Rotherham from 1912, so I wondered if there may have been family members living in Thrybergh in 1911. Her name was Catherine Mannion/Manning, nee Gavin.

I would like to say " thanks" to Choccy.

I did some digging about the John Manning at 53 Silver st, Thrybergh. Even though he is " single" on the 1911 census reurn, I'm certain this was my grandad.
After checking the Army Pension records on another site for the umpteenth time, and over a period of 9 years, I have found him! What clinched it was the details of his marriage to my grannie, as recorded off their marriage cert. So now he is no longer just a name from the distant past, I have got his mothers name, and his place of birth!
The Abell st. address was where they were living in 1913 when their first child was born.
So, Just a little help can lead to so much.
