I cannot make either Moss nor Sand of it.

Hi KenSE,

Can't read the print? Migraines? Now, where have I heard all that before???

I've always found the members on Rootschat to be very polite and helpful when answering queries etc. I once ventured onto their chatboard but wasn't very keen on it though. Not as good as on here :-D

Thanks Elizabeth.
Should have gone to Specsavers.
Found it now. although it´s not terribly obvious.

I may be missing something, but it doesn´t seem that you can read all the posts since your last visit without going into each forum individually, which takes ages.
I used to enjoy scanning through all the posts & often picked up useful tips/information.

No ads on my site, either GR or Rootschat!
Adblock Plus strikes again :)

I had to re -logon too!.

The new look will take some time to get used to.... but I absoluely hate that threads have now been interlaced with ADS
Roughly 3 adverts per page of thread

At least GR put theirs at the side of the page and not on the actual thread!

There are a number of complaints about not being able to read some of the print, Cynthia, and the odd one or two about migraines. However the general tone seems to be very supportive and even the complaints are polite.

It's certainly very 'inyerface' isn't it? I almost jumped backwards when the screen opened up.

At least no one will be complaining that they can't read the print :-D

Had a play around - clicked on England - Buckinghamshire and it's all there - just the same but...just......well...... bigger. :-S

No doubt we will get used to it.... :-D

I couldn't see where to reply or start a thread either.
Then went to the home page and found I wasn't logged in, and had to re-enter my password (despite staying permanently logged in before the makeover).
Hey presto the Reply/Notify/Print etc. options appeared.

(I think I preferred the old layout too.)

Anyone on here been on Rootschat in the last few days.

They have had a makeover

Now I cannot find anyway to add to threads or to start a new thread

It certainly does not look as user friendly as it was. They too like GR seemed to have missed the point of KISS Keep it Simple, Stupid

Why Oh Why do people keep playing around with things. :-S
