Interesting. Googled it. As well as the site itself, Paul's above post also came back in the hits.
Opening the site I did notice that there is a link to this site???????
Wonder how a "free" site gets personal data (eg phone numbers)?

Even in the Legal Stuff page there is nothing to indicate where it is based, nor who sponsors it.

I have just tried it, using my own surname, of which there are plenty in the UK, and 99% of them were in Canada. The rest were in the USA.

Other, less common, family names aren't listed at all!!

There seem to be links to various sites - Genes, 192.com - all paying sites, so only free to a certain extent.

I just tried it, searching for my ancestors in the UK and Australia. The name I searched is not very common but 4 pages of results came up: like Andysmum says, 99% in Canada and 1% in the USA.
If I had any USA ancestors I might have been tempted to look further but none of my lot emigrated in that direction.
