Contact the parks and cemeteries dept of Greenwich Council giving them the details from the death cert.

They keep excellent records for municipal cemeteries even if she was buried in a public grave they will have row and plot number and the cemetery.

They may charge though for a look up. Was free when I I was looking for a 1907 burial but think they now charge

As she died in Deptford but death registered in Greenwich you may also have to consider Lewisham Council (Deptford is now part in this council area).

A lot depends on where she was living when she died.

Her son may have registered her death with Greenwich, but the local undertakers may have used a cemetery in the Deptford area, which may now come under the Lewisham boundaries.

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works. If you post the address she was living at when she died, we may be able to guide you to the most local cemetaries where she may have been taken to.

Hello "piglets pal'
Thanks for your message. Charlotte Cornock died in St Johns Rd Deptford, the subdistrict of St Paul's. I have looked at a street map of London, the Deptford/Greenwich areas, but cannot find a St John's Rd.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated, it is very difficult researching from Australia!
