jax and patchem

Old codgers like me don't always check before we click. Ano Domini A lesson well learnt. Not earth shatering could always repost.. Had added all the information to my Documents File so no one had wasted their time

You cannot accidently delete...well not for the last couple of years anyway, a little box comes up asking if you want to delete

As you have to confirm that you really want to delete it, that should provide enough of a safety net, surely?

Probably not :-(

As long as you haven't closed that particular window/tab down, you might be able to back click (<--- arrow) until you get to it pre deletion, but I don't think you'd be able to reinstate it on the boards. It would give you the chance to copy and paste the information into a word doc for your own use.

If you've closed the window, logged off or shut down, there probably isn't anything to be done.

You could do an internet search with the title - there may be an archived entry, but whether it would show up in its entirety or only the few lines on the search result preview is another matter.

If it's a new thread you might find it by clicking your back button, but otherwise I think it's probably gone.

But others might be better able to advise.
