I need to know who lived at 69 Huxley Gardens in 1951 - I have looked on the Electoral regiater but they only show occupants from 1955 so I really dont know what I am doing wrong. |

Apologies for the delay. I got the address off a passenger list of 1951that gave that address. When I looked on the electoral register I could not find that address for that year on Ancestry. I really am having trauma with Ancestry. |

Ancestry used Optical Character Recognition for their transcripts. It is fine when it works, which is probably 90% of the time, but smudged letters or marks on the paper can throw it so all subsequent entries on that page become unrecognisable as genuine addresses and names. |
