I am trying to find a child that was born and died between the census returns of 1901 and 1911.

According to the 1911 census Sarah Emma Flint (nee Burns) had 3 children 2 living 1 died.. The 2 living were Bernard Austin born 1895 and Dorothy Annie born 1897. Father William born 1868

1901 they were living in York, 1911 living in Doncaster can not find birth and death of a child in either place during those 10 years.

Where else can I look for the name?

Tony :-(

Cannot find a corresponding birth for this little girl. If she died soon after birth, maybe it wasn't registered:

If you are restricting your search to the period between censuses, you may be looking in the wrong time-scale...........

Where were the children you know about born?

I've had this type of search within my own tree too and its a nightmare, my x2 grt grandmother states in 1911 Census that she had 10 children, 6 survived. I could only find 7 children then I found another two but under different spellings, I still have one child to find but sometimes I wonder if she forgot how many children she actually had, although my nana assured me her grandmother had 10 children. My families name is Storie and I found children under Story,Storry,Storrie & Sterry.
