I am just returned to G.R. after a break and I not realy impressed with it.
Could you devise a simple way for the users to contact you there when me wish to ask for assistance with a problem.

My latest reply from GR about the subject of tree printing has apparently been passed over to the Community Manager so I wonder how long it will be before I get a reply

Maybe I shouldn't have said 'pulled' - I didn't mean to imply one thing or the other - it was just 'gone'.

But I don't think the Chat Boards were the correct place for Tony to advertise his wares. When you let one in the hoards follow!

Porkie_Pie Report 8 Nov 2013 16:30

Was the thread "pulled" or did Tony delete his thread? with the replies he had it would not supprise me if he deleted it

Interestingly the thread on General about tree printing has been pulled in the last hour or so!

Family Tree Printing

One of the most common questions we are asked is ‘how can I print my tree’? Well, you’ll be pleased to hear that we have been talking to a professional tree printing company called My History. They have been printing trees for over ten years and are all amateur genealogists themselves, so they know what they are talking about!

They are offering a 10% discount to anyone coming from the Genes Reunited site when you print your tree with them. Prices start from as little as £9.95.
Maybe you just want a print out of your ancestors? Or would you rather have the full tree? There’s a wide choice of charts to choose from and different styles. There definitely is something to suit everyone.

To take advantage of this great offer all you need to do is follow these easy steps:
1). Go to the dedicated Genes tree printing page at My History - http://bit.ly/12XXnDJ

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/announcements/thread/1326350

If that post/thread including the link to the My History web site is NOT a recommendation then what is,

It can also be found in the Help section FAQ at the top of this page under "How do I print my tree?"

Would like a response from the Team on this little problem.

Does this site recommend any tree printing company?

If it does why is there no easily found mention of it on this site.

Why are members not being allowed to put a website addy for a company that many of us have used and tell other members about.

Does this mean that GR have cut all ties with one company in favour of another?

WHY !!!!

You now have to go into Help

scroll all the way down until you see Feedback in the listing on the left

Click on Feedback

Click again on Feedback in the drop down box

Then you will see this .............

Feedback

If you have a suggestion that is not mentioned above and would like to let us know or if you would like to give us your feedback on the site please send us an email by clicking here

After all that ................ you can contact GR by clicking on "here"

not sure what the thinking is/was around this cumbersome method.

maybe Shelley could enlighten us?

Meanwhile, I shall continue to use straightforward email
