WHEN WORKING OUT BIRTH YEAR USING MARRIAGE
REMEMBER THIS UNTIL 1926
GIRLS COULD MARRY WITH PARENTS CONSENT
AT 12 FOR A GIRL,
AT 14 FOR A BOY,
CONSENT AGE WAS 21 ;-)

OH AND THEY OFTEN LIED ABOUT THEIR AGE BECAUSE NO PROOF
OF AGE WAS NEEDED

my 3 x great grandmother married at the age of 15. My 3 x great grandfather was 21 at the time.
