Marriage notes on baptism records...Shorncliffe,

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

If anyone knows of an ancestor baptised at the Garrison Church, Shorncliffe, Folkestone, Kent it is possible that there is mention of marriage location on the entry of baptism.
Most entries are not marked in this way, but it's a real bonus if there is a mention of one's relative.

If you want a name checked please send a message direct to me giving name, approx.date of baptism and parents.

Gwyn - date & place of parents' marr has been an element of Scottish b.certs since 1861. I was wondering if Scottishness of the parents had an influence on its appearance in the garrison records.
