Can anyone tell me if the rules for getting your own adoption records have changed? My mum got her records about about 15 years a go but a lot of the information has been blacked out (not even the bad stuff) and there doesn't seem to be a lot of paper work.
Thank you

Ask the adoption authorities.......they are the experts

Jennifer,,,,,,,the blacked out information was withheld from view as it was concidered it was not in the best interest for it to be shown or had little or no connection to the adopted person,,,,,any re-application will result in the same paperwork.
