Hi GlasgowLass,

Thank you for your very kind offer. I live in the West Country so not much chance of me doing look ups for my self!

I have been trying for some time to find further information for my Granddads two siblings.

firstly George Urquhart born 25 Nov 1909 at 54 Upper Denburn, Aberdeen

The last information I have for him is for when he was the informant on his mothers death cert in 1942
Address
2 Powis Terrace Aberdeen.

His parents were, Alexander George Garden Urquhart and Janet Robertson

they married 3 Feb 1900 at 90 Walker Road,Tory Nigg, Aberdeen

I have no marriage or death record for him.

Also a sister who appeared on the 1911 census who I feel must have died as we had no knowledge of her.

Johanna Urquhart Abt 1901 Aberdeen. Info from the 1911 census

Thanks again for your help

Hi Blue,
I was not very successfull with the search....
I searched for George Urquhart .
As the name is fairly common, I looked at every marriage and death in Aberdeenshire in the correct time period, but found nothing.
The only other possible is that he married and died outside of Aberdeenshire which is a real needle in a haystack scenario.

Joanna Findlay Urquhart
Born 24 Jun 1901 at 4 Blackfriars St, Aberdeen.
( correct parents listed)

Joanna should have been really easy to locate if she married or died in Scotland.
I found nothing.
I even searched Jo* Urquhart in the whole of Scotland and none were her.

However.... could this be your Joanna?

I will scan and PM Joanna's birth record in the next day or so.

Thank you GlasgowLass,

I didn't hold up much hope for George.I'm thinking he must have followed my Granddad to England so at least Scotland is ruled out.

Looking forward to seeing Johanna's birth details.

I do hope that you were successful with your own search's and had a good day.

Thanks again for putting in all the effort for me
