I was in contact with her via email, and facebook on occasions as she didn't use that often. I have sent several emails to her but to no avail. I have also messaged people on her facebook friends list, but still im getting nothing. We hadn't gone into great detail about family and so on, so I didn't get around to asking if she had remarried or about my mums past. I was approaching that gently as it may of been a touchy subject with my aunt as my mum died tragically in her 30's.

Have you tried writing to the address you have for her?

If it's only just over a year since you were in touch, is it likely that she would have re-married in the interim?

I have but none found. Im not sure if she remarried while in Australia and had a different surname?

I have only just recently got back in touch with 1 of my only living relatives, but unfortunately I have not heard from her in well over a year. I came across a breast cancer charity site in Oz called Joy's memory (a shortened name used by her). The site had names of some of her relatives over there. Iv tried messaging them but I have had no response from any of them? I desperately need to find out if my aunt has passed away, as I will continue to search till I know. Does anyone know how to search for a death in Oz?....I would be very grateful for any advice :0)..ps im quite new to all this, so any help or guidance would be brilliant. many thanks :-)
