:-D

Some people have a 'clip it' tool as part of their Microsoft suite (ours is too ancient) so they'll use that instead

Ditto as far as Daniel's baptism is concerned! Better two than none at all

ArgyllGran - it is possible to save many of the images off Ancestry - open up the image, then at the top right of the screen is a yellow box 'save'. One of the drop down options from that is 'save to my computer'.

Once you've done that, its possible to pick it up from your computer and attach to a PM via the GR messaging service

This is the reference number given on Ancestry, if that's any help:

Source Citation: Liverpool Record Office; Liverpool, England; Liber Baptizatorum; Reference Number: 282 ALS/1/4.

Perhaps if you write to them, you could order a copy.

Looking at the image, it says his godmother was Margarita Blair. There's no godfather named.

Baptised at the same time was his older sister Sara Anna, born 05/07/1889.
Elizabeth Dignan is her godmother.

Hi, Colette -
That's cut and pasted from Ancestry.

I'm not sure what you mean by "save me a copy". I could cut & paste the same thing in a PM to you, but it would just be the same as above.

Hi I have found a lad on the Merchant Seaman's Records with a photo who could be the brother of my husband's Granddad,, but I need this lads birth date to see does it match, I believe his baptism is on Ancestry's Liverpool Catholic Baptisms All Souls Church..
His name was DANIEL CARROLL born 1897 parents John Carroll & Mary Barratt, hoping this baptism says born Feb 14th 1897..

Can someone save me the image..

Thank you Colette
