What else would you expect from the Company which also owns GR?

GR never listen to their paying customers, either.

Hi
I have already made sure that the box that says tick for continuous membership is not ticked.I have used the site a few times and I am so diappointed with it even though I have found a couple of new records on their Maritime Deaths and Royal Artillery records so not quite all is lost.I am so glad that I have nearly all my records for my family history on their old format.i feel very sorry for anyone just starting out on their family history journey.
I did not realise till after I had submitted my posting that there had been othe complaints put on this site before.
It is such a pity that Brightsolid is not listening to it's customer,it will probably eventually hit them in their pockets.
I completed the survey on FMP and was quite scathing on it,but from what you all said it won't make any difference.
Thank you for listening to my moans it is nice to get it off your chest

I also hate the new Findmypast site. It is much more difficult to use.

However they DO still list everyone in the household on the transcriptions. It's just that you have to scroll down the page to see them. They give the details for the person you searched for first and then at the bottom of the page there is a list of the whole household.

Oh Norma! This has been going on for a couple of months. FMP slowly moved people over to their new site and were swamped by complaints. They have now removed over 2000 posts on their feedback forum because they didn't like what was being said and, apparantley, also deleting posts from their facebook page. I don't uise FB but take a look at 'Can't Find My Past' on FB - that should tell you heeps.

If your one month free sub ment you having to give your credit card details MAKE SURE you cancel in time.

Have a look at this : http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/general_chat/thread/1339220?page=0

They won't be going back to their old site and say they have made some of the changes asked for - but I don't think I'll be renewing my sub.

I am just using the free month that was available from The Mail on Sunday and I am not impressed with the new format, the transcipts on the old site used to be fantastic especially the census records(they showed everybody in the household but not anymore) and I find the original records much more difficult to print out they appear to be much smaller.I wish they would return to the old format, but all the new additions to the records are great.
What does everyone else thin.
