Det and I are happy you have returned, but if you hadn't our Cyns would send you a message.. she is good like that.

Sorry to hear about the wheelchair though.. don't know where you live in NZ but wheelchair access can be a bit of a problem in some places.. we have a ramp at our place, it was already there..

Cheers Persie

To DetEcTive and Persephone

Thank you both for your help, I really appreciate it.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you both, but after seeing my Specialist yesterday I just didn't feel much like going onto Genes... Let's just say I could be getting a Wheelchair for X'mas!

Anyway, I'm going to see if I can find some time to get on the Comp. today, so wish me luck!

Thanks again to you both.

Kiwi Joy.

I am with Det on that Joy...

I delete each child then the spouse of whoever is the link in the tree and then the linking one and go backwards.. it can take a while but you get there in the end.

If you have problems just message me and we will go through it together, in the meantime get your health sorted, the tree can wait it won't go anywhere.

Persie.

Sorry to hear that you have to resort to pain killers - most of us can can probably empathise to some degree!

If the relative you trying to delete has parents or children attached, they have to be deleted first. When someone marries again, they are sometimes duplicated so that you can create a new family

Should the system not allow you to delete them, GR can probably sort it out for you.

Hi, I'm going out of my mind here trying to delete part of my tree that has decided it didn't want to be part of my tree, so it's "doubled" itself somewhere else!!

I know it should be easy, but I have been on extra strong pain killers for the past 3 weeks, (to do with my Discs in my Spine), The good news is the pain is easing and I see my Specialist tomorrow - but I can't seem to concentrate now! I've tried to delete the extra information every which way, but my mind doesn't seem to want to process the information, so I end up retyping bits and trying to delete the info that's been doubled - all to no avail!! If I wasn't feeling so sleepy I'd be pulling my hair out I reckon.

I'd be grateful for any advice. Only please take into consideration that living in NZ there's a big time difference with the rest of the World, but I shall be checking my comp. when I can. ( I'd appreciate any "fingers crossed" for me tomorrow when I see the Specialist too!)

Many Thanks
Kiwi Joy.
