William & Harriet Field (Love) is my wife's maternal great grandmother and had 16 children from 1884 to 1904! Harriet remembered them all in the 1911 census. Way back in Feb 2014 the message board helped me find 2 of the lost children Clara & Walter to the 7 that lived an adult life. Have to say a huge thank you to the new GRO index free search & who has established it. It gives mother's maiden name on birth certificate back to 1837 and age on death certificate back to 1837. This is a fantastic help to family research and a shout out use it. Late last night within 90 minutes and at 1 o'clock in the morning with GRO index search. I found 8 of 9 of the forgotten children by our family generation. Harriet deserved a Pride of Britain award! Remembering

Clara Elizabeth Field 1884 -1889
Florence Lilian Field 1886- 1887
James William Field 1889 -1889
Bert Field 1893-1893
Arthur Field 1895-1895
Horace Field 1899-1899
Howard Scott Field 1901-1901
Walter Field 1904-1904

If you were stuck with options or want to confirm your family tree try it out. It makes me wonder how many more forgotten relatives will be found.

Thank you Chris for the detail you have discovered. William & Harriet Field (Love) and my wifes grandfather are buried at Oldbury Cemetery. I discovered they were there 4 years ago. So we always try & lay flowers when visiting my sister-in-law. Good to know some of their children are also near by. I'll be doing some more searching with the sites provided for the adult children as well. Thanks again
