Welcome to the boards Lisa.

Has the person whose tree you want to view given you permission to view it? You can't see anyone else's tree until they give you permission.

If they have, open your own tree (by clicking on "Family Tree" which is along to top of the screen next to "Home", and then click on "my tree". When this tree opens your name should be at the top in the centre of screen and underneath that should be "view other trees". Click on that. A box comes up and it should have "my tree" and "other trees shared with me". Click on that.

Hope you can understand all of that.

If you don't have permission to view the tree you will have to click on the name of the person who owns the tree and ask for permission. Give them the reason you think you have some shared ancestry.

Hi I'm hoping someone can help. How do I view a shared tree?
