Searching is free, but you have to buy credits to view details

If you want help from board users, give some names etc

Some Scottish records are also on Ancestry, FMP, FamilySearch (free), and other sites - it depends what you're looking for.

The 1911 Scottish census is ONLY on Scotlands People.

FreeCEN is also useful, but coverage varies by county; e.g., 30 counties complete for 1841 (other 3 are partial), but only 11 for 1871, and only Caithness goes to 1891.
