Trying to contact a Malcolm George Rice born Surrey 1962 and child of Colin P Rice and Grace Stoddart. He seems to have been a director of a company based in Kettering in 1990's. Until recently he may have been resident at Kettering. Unable to find any phone number or other contact possibility. He and my late wife share genealogy via Buchanan family and I am trying to make advances with that knowledge. Thanks in advance

He seems to have been an only child

The Electoral Rolls do indeed show a Malcolm George Rice at the address you give, aged 65+ according to the ER on GR.

But I think he was there before 2002. If in 2002 or later, the record would give specific years when he lived there - but it doesn't.
"Age 65+" is pretty vague - there's no way of knowing when that man was born.

But he's clearly not the one born in 1962.

The house was sold in 2021, and before that in 2014.

If your connection is with the parents of the child born in 1962, the man about whom you have posted so much info is not in any way relevant

That’s obviously the man in Kettering, but he isn’t the son of Rice and Stoddart

Thanks to all who provided info. From that info he appears to be a differnet man,
ErikaH seems to have hit nail on head. My Malcolm seems to be the one who was born and died as infant in south east surrey in 1962. Back to the drawing board. The other points made are noted.

The additional detail re Stoddart girls and Colin Rice is great. It is very much appreciated. Can I ask re your info about Malcolm Rice dying in 1962 -how did you know he was an only child? Is that fact recorded at registration? I am a member at Scotlands People - its my southern research that causes me most issues lol. Also what does the RD mean at the Godstone address you gave re Rice family?

There were no other Rice/Stoddart births on freebmd. You can easily check that yourself by looking at the site. Unlike Scotland, MMN is recorded on births in England/Wales. (After 1911 on freebmd - on all births up to 1922-ish on GRO site)
